Islantilla is a tranquil resort, with most goings-on focused on beach life. The resort has its own sailing school offering a choice of watersports, while the 27 hole golf course makes a gorgeous setting for practicing your swing, with holes and bunkers sculpted by the natural dune like landscape. The fine, white sands of Islantilla Beach stretch for more than 2 kilometers, making it one of the most spectacular beaches on the Costa de la Luz.

The natural dunes and maritime promenade divide the beach from the few, stylish hotels positioned on the seafront. Evening activity tends to take place in the hotels or at the nearby shopping complex. Here you will find a few bars. If you stay in Islantilla you fly into Faro (Portugal). Therefore, if you are a non-EU passport holder, Portuguese and Spanish visa requirements will apply. There may be limited representative service to hotels in this resort.
