Egypt's Red Sea Riviera encompasses the entire Egyptian coastline of the Sinai Peninsular and the coastline from the Gulf of Suez to the Sudanese border, and has an excellent climate all year round with fabulous sandy beaches ideal for sun worshippers, The resort of Sharm el Sheikh which is situated on the most southerly tip of the Sinai peninsular is famous for its beautiful coral reefs and warm, exceptionally clear waters, It is a divers' paradise where marina life is abundant - expect to see dolphins, manta rays and hundreds of varieties of fish! Other places you must see while in Sharm el Sheikh include The Ras Mohammed National Park - Egypt's first national park which contains a stunning landscape that varies between impressive sandstone mountains and magnificent coral reefs. Apart from the turquoise waters, the Red Sea Riviera is also known for it's luxurious hotels and a good variety of shopping. The shopping ranges from traditional bazaars to more Westernized enclosed shopping malls away from the hustle and bustle of the busy streets.

Situated on the coastline running from the Gulf of suez South to the Sudanese border you will find the resorts of Hurghada, El Gouna and Makadi Bay. All these resorts are famous for Scuba Diving and offer a wide variety of different dive sites accessible by boat. These resorts are very different to the resort of Sharm el Sheikh. Makadi Bay - A quiet location, for those looking to get away from it all, with only a handful of hotels situated around a small bay. Hurghada - A large sprawling resort with many of the hotels situated right on the sea front. El Gouna - A modern purpose built resort, with beautiful hotels surrounded by both natural and man made lagoons. El Gouna is often referred to as the Venice of the Red Sea.
