These excursions can be pre-booked in the UK subject to a deposit, with the remainder payable in resort - please see the panels for prices in each resort. NB: because divers enter international waters they must purchase an Egyptian Visa. Diving in HurghadaHurghada was one of the first areas opened for diving and has since become a diver's sub-marine wonderland. The extensive marine life offers everything from tiny gobies to huge whale sharks. However, Hurghada does not have the central focus on diving that may be found in Sharm EI Sheikh, instead the resort feels less busy with divers tending to stick to the hotels that they are staying in. Customers may stay at the Hilton Resort or Plaza in Hurghada for the second week of a twin centre holiday or following a seven night cruise. Diving in EI GounaThe resort of EI Gouna offers easy access to the fantastic wreck sites along the Abu Nuhas reef and the breath taking reefs in the Straits of Gobal. The resort is located approximately 30 kilometres north of Hurghada and has a similar feel. Customers may stay at the Movenpick EI Gouna or Swiss Inn Dawar in EI Gouna in the second week of a twin centre holiday or following a seven night cruise. Diving in Sharm EI SheikhPerched on the southern tip of the glorious Sinai peninsular. Sharm EI Sheikh is often described as 'Dive Central'. With the national park of Ras Mohammad a stone's throw away the area offers some of the best hard coral growths, a number of wreck sites, a multitude of diverse fish types as well as the larger shark and manta species. |
