A popular tourist resort at the southern most point of Hainan Island, Sanya is the 2nd biggest city on the Island. A most laid back approach is taken to nearly all aspects of life in this tropical haven and casual clothiing is worn for most activities.

The beaches are the main attraction here. Sanya is home to some of the most beautiful and well looked after stretches of coastline not just on Hainan island but in China and southern Asia for the matter. Brightly coloured tropical fish and coral reef make this the perfect place for an unforgettable swim or you could take the view in while snorkeling at “Wild Boar Island” which can be reached by boat from Yalong Wan.
