Venice

Take a boat to this historic city of romance and her three main islands with there bewitching, softly coloured canals. Tour the fine palaces and piazzas and soak up the atmosphere of St Marks Square.

Florence

Works of art abound in this beautiful city. In fact 60% of the world's most important works of art are found in Italy - and half of them are in Florence. Birthplace of the Renaissance the city boasts Michelangelo's Davis and Botticelli's Birth of Venus.

Verona and Lake Garda

Romance and breathtaking scenery combine in this trip. As well as boasting an enormous Roman amphitheatre - an open air opera house in summer - Verona has the house where Shakespeare's Juliet allegedly lived and was visited by her Romeo. Who could resist standing beneath the balcony.
