Salina Bay is a quiet and secluded area on the outskirts of St Paul's Bay. Its name comes from the local salt pans which can occasionally be smelt on the onshore breeze. There is a little rocky cove from which you can enjoy a refreshing swim in clear waters. The nearest sandy beaches are 10km away at Mellieha Bay and Golden Bay. If you are feeling energetic take the short trip to neighboring resort Bugibba where you will find a range of water sports to experience, as well as a number of beach bars to have a relaxing drink in afterwards. St Paul's has a good selection of tourist cafes and an excellent variety of restaurants, Old St Paul's offers a good choice of menus.
