Los Cristianos is 3km southeast of Playa de las Americas and is popular with families. The resort is more sophisticated than its playful neighbour, and people-watching from one of the many pavement cafes is a favourite pastime, as is watching the yachts gently bobbing up and down in the harbour. A marvellous, gently-shelving sweep of dark sand around a sheltered bay. The nearby harbour is a great place for boat trips. Nightlife here is relaxed and the bars and restaurants are more suited to couples than those after a merry night on the town. Take a leisurely stroll to Playa de las Americas for livelier music, bars and nightclubs. Los Cristianos offers a selection of local and international cuisine and plenty of bars and cafes to keep you amused.
