At Olu Deniz a long, sweep of white sand and shingle curves around the bay leading to a stunning, secluded lagoon. The main Belcekiz Beach offers water sports, canoes and pedaloes during the day, while the laid back evenings in Olu Deniz are given to waterfront and rooftop restaurants and a couple of dance bars. If you want a livelier night out, Hisaronu, is only four kilometres away.

The famous lagoon - probably the most photographed beach in Turkey - is a conservation area, (daily entry is approximately 50p), where you'll find turquoise waters and attractive beaches. The rest of Olu Deniz beach is a vast expanse of sand, shingle and pebbles. Watersports are available along Olu Deniz beach but are not permitted in the lagoon area itself.
