Side Holiday

Once an outpost of the Roman Empire, Side offers a seductive cocktail of sun, sea, sand and culture, only 75km east of Antalya. Walk in the footsteps of history and you'll find impressive, well-preserved Roman remains around every corner you turn. Old narrow streets lead down to the harbour lending Side a charming village atmosphere. You'll find a great choice of restaurants and bars, both here and on the waterfront, and some excellent shopping in the back streets. Don't miss a walk down by the remains of Apollo's Temple Sunset.

Side has two golden sand beaches on either side of the peninsula and a small sandy cove in the town centre. There are also fine beaches at Sorgun, Kumkoy and Colakli, just a short walk or taxi ride away.
